The Jakarta Chapter of the Osaka City University Alumni gathered for an Alumni meeting in Jakarta, Indonesia, on 19 September 2014. 10 of our alumni, including the Honorary Chairman of the Jakarta Chapter, Mr. Katsuji Miyoshi(graduated in 1970 from the Faculty of Business) attended the meeting, together with OCU Vice President Miyano and a staff member of the OCU Global Exchange Office.

The OCU Alumni Jakarta Chapter consists mainly of OCU graduates currently residing in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The meeting was organized to coincide with the visit by Vice President Miyano to the Japan, Osaka Study Abroad Fair 2014 in Bandung, Indonesia, held by Osaka Prefecture.

The Study Abroad Fair was held the next day in Bandung, approximately 200 kilometers from Jakarta. The number of people studying Japanese and interested in the possibilities to study in Japan is very high in Indonesia. The event attracted about 4000 visitors, of whom almost 100 visited the booth of OCU, a big success.

OCU will continue to keep in close contact with all?its graduates abroad.
