The Overseas Human Resources and Industry Development Association (HIDA) brought two groups of candidate nurses from the Philippines and Indonesia to tour the facilities of the OCU University Hospital, on 15 and 20 October 2015.　

Under the Economic Partnership Agreement with the Philippines and Indonesia HIDA carries out training of candidate nurses to obtain a qualification to work in hospitals in Japan. During their training they develop their Japanese communication ability, nursing skills and way to work in Japan. The hospital visit was part of their training.

OCU and HIDA signed a cooperation agreement in July of 2015.
